Our Services

Feral & Pest Animal Management Across NSW

Aussie Feral & Pest Solutions is being established to support rural and semi-rural landholders with planned vertebrate pest management across New South Wales.

Our focus is on helping property owners understand and address the impacts of invasive pest species through lawful, responsible, and compliance-based approaches. Firearms-based vertebrate pest animal control services will commence only after all required NSW regulatory approvals are granted.

We are based in Sydney and intend to operate within an approximate 750 km service radius, working with farmers, graziers, and rural businesses to reduce pest pressure on farmland, livestock, crops, and infrastructure as part of broader vertebrate pest management and biosecurity planning.

Feral Pig Management – NSW

Feral pigs are widely recognised as one of the most destructive invasive pest animals in NSW. Their activity can result in significant damage to pasture, crops, dams, fencing, and water sources, and may also pose risks to livestock and land productivity.

Planned feral pig control in NSW plays an important role in:

  • Reducing ongoing pasture and crop damage

  • Limiting pressure on livestock and water points

  • Supporting land rehabilitation and soil stability

  • Reducing long-term repair and recovery costs

Because feral pigs breed rapidly, early identification and coordinated management planning are critical elements of effective vertebrate pest management.

Feral Deer Management – NSW

Feral deer populations have expanded across many parts of New South Wales, placing increasing pressure on agricultural land and rural infrastructure.

Landholders commonly report issues such as:

  • Grazing pressure on pasture and crops

  • Damage to fencing and boundary infrastructure

  • Biosecurity concerns and increased vehicle collision risk

Feral deer management in NSW requires a property-specific approach that considers local conditions, terrain, land use, and regulatory requirements.

Wild Dogs, Dingoes, Hybrids & Foxes

Predator species such as wild dogs, dingo hybrids, and foxes present ongoing challenges for livestock producers, particularly sheep and goat operations.

Effective wild dog removal services and fox control for farmers are often most successful when integrated into broader property and regional management programs.

Common objectives include:

  • Reducing predation pressure on livestock

  • Supporting lambing and kidding periods

  • Limiting ongoing stock losses and stress

Early planning and coordinated action are key components of long-term predator management.

Feral Goat Management

Feral goats can exert sustained pressure on pasture, water sources, and fragile landscapes, particularly in semi-arid and rangeland environments.

Management planning may focus on:

  • Reducing competition with livestock

  • Protecting ground cover and pasture condition

  • Limiting land degradation and erosion

Effective approaches support sustainable grazing systems and long-term land recovery.

Rabbit and Hare Management

Rabbits and hares are well-established pest species across NSW and are known for causing persistent damage through overgrazing, burrowing, and crop loss.

Early and coordinated rural pest control services can assist landholders by:

  • Protecting soil structure and pasture condition

  • Reducing damage to fencing and infrastructure

  • Supporting regeneration and land rehabilitation

Addressing rabbit and hare activity early can significantly reduce future management and repair costs.

A Property-Specific Approach

Every property presents different challenges. Prior to any future pest animal control activity, we take time to understand:

  • The pest species involved

  • The level and pattern of activity

  • Local terrain, land use, and access

  • Landholder priorities and concerns

Our intended services are designed to support existing pest management and biosecurity programs, not replace long-term land management planning.

Compliance, Safety & Responsibility

All future pest animal control activities will be undertaken:

  • With clear landholder permission

  • In accordance with NSW and Australian legislation

  • With consideration for animal welfare and public safety

  • Subject to applicable permits, approvals, and licence conditions

Depending on the species, location, and circumstances, regulatory approvals may be required prior to any action. These requirements are discussed with landholders as part of the planning process.
